Between the White House jokes and Guillermo Rodriguez's ballroom goodbye, Jimmy Kimmel Live found room for a familiar guitar-pop refrain. "Matchbox Twenty - 3AM" celebrates the 30th anniversary of Yourself or Someone Like You, the band's debut album, and has gathered about 660,000 views. It's a different kind of time capsule from the political clips filling much of the week's slate.

Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson supplied another change of subject, discussing Street Fighter, an accidental punch involving co-star Noah Centineo and the experience of being intimidated by Robert De Niro. His interview is also among the channel's uploads drawing the most views each day right now.

Across the week's uploads, though, the biggest audience went to the monologue pairing Katie Zacharia's first White House press briefing with Guillermo's Dancing with the Stars elimination. It has passed seven million views. After replaying Guillermo and Witney Carson's salsa to Bad Bunny, Kimmel brings the pair in by satellite to discuss their exit. The week's follow-up gives Carson and Guillermo another dance, this time on Kimmel's own show.

The later monologue about the White House's response to Kimmel currently has the strongest daily momentum. Channel-wide daily viewing is nearly half again its usual level, while the subscriber count is unchanged over the week. Among fellow late-night channels, Saturday Night Live had a particularly substantial week for views; The Daily Show's weekly total was close to Kimmel's.

Fourteen uploads made this more than a monologue week: alongside the running political commentary, there was room for a rapper's movie stories and Matchbox Twenty revisiting its debut.
