IShowSpeed celebrates Harry Kane, then meets a Warren investigator in a haunted house

The livestream reaches its ghost tour only after about twenty minutes of football and fan clips, and many viewers wanted far more of the night than they got.

SPENDING THE NIGHT IN THE WORLD'S SCARIEST HAUNTED HOUSE! 🏚️😱

The haunted house can wait. When IShowSpeed comes on camera promising "a real genuine scary stream today, bro," the first thing he wants to know is who won the Ballon d'Or.

Chat offers Lamine Yamal and Harry Kane, and Speed does not believe either answer until a clip of the ceremony shows Kane winning. He erupts, then gives the striker a "W" in the chat. A look at the full rankings brings more surprise, including Cristiano Ronaldo's absence from the top 30, a notable detail for a streamer whose most famous upload is the day he met Ronaldo. A scorecard showing Manchester United three goals down to Bournemouth spoils the mood. Fan-submitted clips fill the gaps, among them an edit that cuts his China fight scene into Karate Kid footage.

The ghosts arrive with Rick, his guide, who introduces himself through the paranormal investigators behind the Conjuring films. "I investigated with Ed and Lorraine Warren for years, and I pretty much grew up here," he says. Speed makes a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in the kitchen while Rick begins the history of the house and of Annabelle, the doll at the center of the Warrens' best-known case.

Nearly 1.5 million people pressed play in about three hours. Many are now talking about the title. They took "spending the night" literally, and expected games and a sleep stream. Several say the broadcast ran only a couple of hours.

A separate upload, "I SPENT 24 HOURS IN THE CONJURING HOUSE!", went up on the channel the same day.
