- 6:26A bullwhip experiment leads into a discussion of velocity, direction and acceleration.
- 10:16A heavy sledgehammer takes aim at concrete pavers with Rexy perched on top.
- 13:56A sword meets stacked encyclopedias before a mannequin becomes the next target.
- 17:58The coffin tests begin with weighted chains; the small sledgehammer's result comes at 18:59.
Changing direction counts as acceleration. That is the point viewers keep returning to beneath How Ridiculous's only new upload of the week, amid flying tools, broken ropes and a remarkably fast work boot.
"Worlds Fastest Sledgehammer Vs Bulletproof Coffin" has passed two million views. Before reaching the coffin, the trio uses its giant chain whip to swing a mallet at a gong, launch a boot into a soccer ball and send a heavy sledgehammer through concrete pavers beneath dinosaur mascot Rexy. Several early attachments fail, leaving Jackson to replace broken ropes.
The bullwhip experiment prompts the "Science with Gaunson" segment. In the comments, viewers expand on the distinction between speed and velocity: an object changing direction is accelerating even if its speed stays constant. Elsewhere, the mannequin's slow-motion encounter gets attention, and one viewer proposes "Supersonic Sledgehammer" as a garage-band name. The video also includes a Shopify-sponsored segment.
It is a busy apparatus in a slower week for the channel. How Ridiculous added roughly 5.5 million views across its catalog, while its subscriber count slipped and daily viewing is running well below its usual level. Nearby in channel size, Ryan Trahan also has a slower-than-usual daily pace; Airrack is above his usual pace and added subscribers over the week.
The new whip upload is drawing the most daily views on How Ridiculous, followed by "Canyon Gap Aerobie Throw." The older "Random Things Vs Mountain! Longest Throw Wins" remains another active stop, with Editor Jack's description explaining how an FPV drone keeps those tumbling objects in frame.

What viewers say
"Supersonic Sledgehammer" is a great name for a garage band.
@wickedpissa25See it on YouTubeThe mannequin may have seemed like a bummer at full speed, but slow-mo was hilarious.
@orowoodworks5413See it on YouTubeif you all are curious, acceleration is change in velocity. velocity being speed and direction. so when the whip is turning at the end of the crack its accelerating quite fast because the direction is changing. that's why it keeps breaking at that same spot. there is a lot of G force around that turn.

3:07 You can say that was gong on impact
@adambauckhamSee it on YouTubeYou can actually see the sword fly at 14:52-54. Just a little glint in the sky
@deraklesSee it on YouTube7:40 Gaunson is right. There is massive acceleration happening at that change in direction. Without complicating things too much, the object is essentially accelerating in the opposite direction of the original pull in order to be going the other way.
