Attack Shark gets another chance on Hipyo Tech's keyboard bench
The R68 HE review revisits a brand that disappointed him before, with budget comparisons becoming a talking point.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
I Was So Wrong About This Keyboard...
Hipyo Tech didn't like the last Attack Shark keyboard he tried. Viewers kept recommending the brand anyway, giving his latest review a useful starting point: could the R68 HE change his mind?
"I Was So Wrong About This Keyboard..." was the bigger draw of his two new uploads, reaching roughly 127,000 views. The title signals a rethink, while the description makes clear that this is another attempt to answer a familiar channel question: what makes a good budget gaming keyboard?
The comments put particular emphasis on the word "budget." Viewers question how useful a pricier alternative is when it means doubling the spending, while owners compare notes on sound and software. There's a smaller aesthetic debate, too: side-printed keycap labels get a mention, and one viewer explains that lettering barely registers once a keyboard is in daily use. For this audience, the buying decision clearly extends beyond a satisfying typing sound.
The other new upload, "This budget keyboard looks SO GOOD!!? 🥺", currently has the strongest daily momentum of the channel's active videos. The Attack Shark review follows it, with a keyboard upload from earlier in October also continuing to draw views.
Across the channel, daily viewing is close to its usual level, and the subscriber count grew by about 10,000 over the week. Among nearby gadget channels, META PCs had an especially large viewing week; Hardware Canucks also added subscribers. Hipyo Tech's own week stayed firmly on the desk, with two new reasons to reconsider what an affordable keyboard should offer.

Another fun video and even though I would never buy a keyboard without a function row & a tilde / backtick key unless I'm brainwashed by aliens or something I can still appreciate it. So good stuff :)
@CountGiovanniSee it on YouTubeThe only time i look at the keycap font is when i buy them, I couldn't describe the lettering an any of my keyboards, I'd be hard pressed recalling which ones have rgb, but i turn it off on wireless boards.
@renz13bSee it on YouTubeI'm glad I "invested" in a wooting years ago. I wish I'd waited for a 65%, but I just got a cheapo macro pad and it fills those needs. My wife took my old keyboard to work and it's been great
