- 5:06Pavi and Nisha's relationship supplies the season's emotional core, Hickson argues.
- 7:16He questions whether a misunderstanding alone can sustain the sisters' future conflict.
- 16:15Restricting the Avatar State addresses the storytelling problem of an overwhelmingly powerful protagonist.
- 23:26He examines the revealed Havens and their places in the fractured world.
- 27:22He proposes a spirit-draining machine as part of his theory about the cataclysm.
An immensely powerful hero creates a writing problem: what can meaningfully stand in their way? Tim Hickson takes up that question in "Avatar: Seven Havens Is...", examining how the series restricts or divides access to the Avatar State.
The review has passed 200,000 views and is the most watched of Hello Future Me's two new uploads this week. Beyond his response to Pavi and Nisha's relationship, Hickson gets into bending choreography, clunky dialogue and the mystery of the cataclysm. His proposed connection between a spirit-draining machine and Korra's actions is a theory, not an answer the show has supplied.
Viewers are doing their own worldbuilding underneath. Several connect Agam's knowledge of chakras to Nisha's possible development; others debate whether the supporting cast needed more room. The conversation also returns to an old Avatar question: how much can a first season establish before later seasons deepen it?
"How Trade Routes Really Work: Chokepoints" supplies the week's other strand, moving through political fragmentation, shifting geography and conflict. Both new essays are drawing more daily views than his August upload "I read all the Star Wars books, and now I understand the prequels", though that marathon remains active beyond two million views.
Subscribers held steady over the week, while daily viewing is currently more than three times its usual level. That makes this a notably busy moment for Hello Future Me's mix of screen criticism and worldbuilding, with the newest Avatar essay providing the largest individual draw.

Agam being one of the more interesting earth-bender’s and also having knowledge on the chakras might be related
@miss-ditzy-fortuneSee it on YouTubeI really hope we have Agam teach Nisha how to fight
@miss-ditzy-fortuneSee it on YouTubeThe theme around rediscovering the lost world I feel adds to the more broad theme of nostalgia. Which isn't an uncommon trope in post-apocalyptic media. But it is fitting here since many or us are 20 years older from when we first watched The Last Airbender.

The next chakra is blocked by guilt. I think we’re gonna switch between both story lines much like how in ATLA we saw the parallel stories between Zuko and Aang. Lord knows Nisha’s guilt chakra is BLOCKED
@Br.ajjoujjenberrySee it on YouTube1:00 Tbh, when I go back to watch ATLA S1 it feels like it’s definitely more for children. But S2 and S3 are still for children but also adults. I hope Seven Havens has the same kinda trajectory
@Br.ajjoujjenberrySee it on YouTubeI felt like the main characters and their relationships with each other were pretty strong in this season (Pavi, Nisha, Jae, Karthik). But there was just this plethora of other minor characters that seemed very underdeveloped (Daemin, Uki, Lan, Datu, Kayoko, Zi, etc). I feel like they didn't need to introduce so many people so fast if they weren't going to have time to focus on any of them.
@astrojellyfish8137See it on YouTubeI think it could have used one or two more episodes. The relationship of Jea and Datu was so underdeveloped it might as well not exist.
@ZheToralfSee it on YouTubeHopefully 7 Seasons will realign our chakras.
