GMHikaru brought in nearly 11 million views across the week, the largest weekly total among the nearby streaming channels here. Subscribers grew too, while daily viewing is now running at almost twice the channel's usual level.

Sixteen uploads supplied plenty of chess, but "Another El Clasico Magnus vs Hikaru" drew the biggest new audience, reaching roughly 756,000 views. Posted on Tuesday, it revisits September tournament play rather than a newly played encounter.

Before the advertised Magnus meeting, Hikaru Nakamura has other opponents and a surprisingly persistent distraction: Chess.com's new sound effect. Against Parham Maghsoodloo, he complains about his own slow play, reaches a draw by repetition, then returns to the noise. "It's really annoying actually. I'm going to complain to Chess.com."

The comments pick up that irritation, alongside jokes about the thumbnail and an observation about the evaluation bar adjusting after Hikaru calls a position drawn. Even with grandmasters on the board, the interface gets its share of attention.

The week's over-the-board thread came through "Rough Day in St Louis," covering Clutch Chess with Fabiano Caruana, Praggnanandhaa and Sindarov. Meanwhile, the Disrespect speedrun upload currently carries the channel's strongest daily momentum, with the Magnus recording and "I Won 19 Out of 20 Bullet Brawls" also active. The latter documents Hikaru's nineteenth Bullet Brawl victory of the year, from September: another older tournament session finding its place in a busy release week.
