Geek & Sundry, the tabletop and geek-culture channel founded by Felicia Day, is closing in on a billion lifetime views, and it spent this week getting there without a single new upload. The channel ran on its shelf instead, a little below its usual daily pace, with the subscriber count holding still.

The short doing most of the work is "MTG didn’t forget about Second Breakfast," a nod to the Hobbit habit of fitting in an extra morning meal, tagged for Magic: The Gathering's Lord of the Rings crossover. Twenty days on, it is still drawing views at a pace the channel's other recent videos cannot touch.

Further back sits "Deborah Ann Woll's Tales From Woodcreek is Like a TTRPG Escape Room," a look at the Daredevil actor's tabletop project, and a short of life-sized Eeveelutions from Pokémon Worlds. Both are ticking along gently.

The neighbors were mostly in a soft patch too. Critical Role and Tolarian Community College both ran below their usual pace, so Geek & Sundry's quiet stretch was far from unusual in its corner.
