Fortnite's mystery '⁇' teaser outruns the Fortnitemares tease
A day-old upload with no words in its title is gathering views roughly five times faster than the Halloween-season teaser that holds the week's biggest total.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Fortnitemares is Coming...
Fortnite put up fifteen videos over the week, and the busiest of them gives nothing away. Titled simply "⁇", it went up on Saturday and is already past half a million views, moving faster than anything else on the channel.
The week's biggest total still belongs to "Fortnitemares is Coming...", which has closed in on a million views in three days. Its opening burst has cooled, but it keeps a solid crowd. Right behind the mystery clip on pace is a day-old birthday video, "9 years of Battle Royale 🎂🥹 Party on with a Balloon Popper Assault Rifle & Birthday Sprites!", which is picking up speed fast.
The rest of the week had a heart motif running through it. Persona 5 Royal is coming to the game, and the shop video borrowed the Phantom Thieves' line about stealing hearts. Madison Beer's arrival as a Fortnite Icon has been a steadier presence, still drawing a fair share of views days after it went up.
Among game publishers, Fortnite sits third of nine by subscribers, behind PlayStation and League of Legends and a step ahead of Nintendo of America.
