A competition-day morning and a LASIK question for fayefilms

Faye Ng's one new short follows her 7AM start before a competition, while a ten-day-old clip about possibly getting eye surgery keeps finding viewers.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

On an ordinary day, fayefilms gathers something near 70,000 views across its library of study tips and productivity videos, and the days around Faye Ng's one new upload looked exactly like that. The channel ran at its usual pace, neither faster nor slower.

That new upload is a short: "7AM Productive Morning Routine: Competition Day 🧬", posted on September 28. It walks through the start of a day built around a competition, and the DNA emoji in the title hints at a science one. It has passed 70,000 views in four days.

The short drawing the most daily views is a little older and a little more personal. "I might be getting surgery…😷", tagged for LASIK, went up ten days ago and has passed 136,000 views, moving slightly faster than the competition-day clip.

Behind both sits the long video from early September, "How I became DISGUSTINGLY DISCIPLINED and got my dream life (you can too)". Faye describes it as six months of discipline condensed into three rules, a reward system and some advice she says she wishes she had heard when she was younger. It is nearing three-quarters of a million views.

Among the vlog and daily-life channels near her size, emily ha is running a bit above her usual pace and Ava Jules draws by far the most daily views. Zeliha Akpinar, a fellow student-turned-creator, sits almost level with fayefilms on daily views, while Faye's own channel holds the middle of the group, just as the student from Malaysia who started it in 2020 set out to do: a steady, familiar presence for students.
