EYstreem sits a little past six billion lifetime views, and the two videos added this week lean in opposite directions: one back in time, one straight up. "I Found my Deleted Minecraft World from 2011…" went up on Friday and opened briskly, then cooled quickly after its first day. The next day brought "Testing Scary Myths on Minecraft's Nether Roof," and it is moving at roughly four times the pace of its day-older sibling. Nostalgia got the first look, and superstition is getting the second.
The real surprise sits just behind it. "I Survived 100 Days as EL GRAN MAJA in Minecraft" is nine days old, already past three and a half million views, and still gathering them faster than the 2011 world ever managed after its opening day. "Breaking 100 Laws with Realistic Physics in Minecraft," a day younger, keeps a steadier pace of its own.
Among the Minecraft creators, EYstreem ranks fourth of nine by subscribers, behind Aphmau, PrestonPlayz and Maizen and a step ahead of Cash.
