Utah airshows give Erik Johnston his first A-26 flight
Roger Woolsey flew him from Dallas to Spanish Fork in the Million Air Invader, while St. George supplied two airborne camera platforms.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Spanish Fork Airshow Aerial Footage
Getting to the airshow became part of the experience for Erik Johnston. He had wanted to film Spanish Fork for years; Roger Woolsey made the trip especially memorable by picking him up in Dallas in an A-26 Invader, Johnston's first flight in the aircraft.
Three uploads bring that Utah flying week to the channel. “EPIC Aerial Footage From the St George Fly In.” has the largest audience so far, with roughly 3,300 views. Johnston describes shooting alongside photographer Keith Charlot from Brad Smith's Bonanza A-36 with its right-side doors removed, then using Chris Lamprecht's L-39 Albatross as a second camera platform. In the comments, viewers single out an inverted L-39 pass over the A-26, the appearance of the propellers and the canyon scenery.
“Spanish Fork Airshow Aerial Footage” follows with the story of that Invader ride. The newest upload, “Spanish Fork Airshow Utah 2026,” is currently drawing views fastest of the three, giving the channel's busiest titles an entirely Utah flavor.
Johnston added about 1,000 subscribers over the week, although daily viewing is below its usual pace. Nearby aviation channels FlightChops and Aviation101 also have quieter daily viewing. For Johnston, the week's distinctive detail is the access: filming from two aircraft at St. George and finally making that long-wanted Spanish Fork visit.

Wow!!! Simply Awesome Erik! Blown away once again. Especially loved the L-39 "777" inverted pass over the A-26. And choice of music was perfect. Thanks for sharing.
