Roc d'Azur brings gearboxes and convertible helmets to EMBN
Owen explores new bikes and components, while Ferg and Neil discuss battery rental abroad on EMBN Show 455.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
The Hottest New eBikes And Tech | Roc d'Azur 2026
Owen's Roc d'Azur tour has collected roughly 33,000 views in its first 18 hours, giving Electric Mountain Bike Network's ten-upload week a fresh burst of showroom curiosity. “The Hottest New eBikes And Tech | Roc d'Azur 2026” ranges from integrated gearbox-and-motor units to lightweight custom batteries and convertible helmets. Waterproof shoes get a stop on the tour, too, a practical companion to all that engineering.
The week's most-watched new upload remains “This Is What Kills eBike Motors. Here's How To Avoid It,” now approaching 150,000 views. Steve Jones visits eBike Motor Centre to explore how water and grit damage internal bearings. The discussion underneath goes beyond keeping a bike clean: viewers ask for motors that home mechanics can open, inspect and service, and for clearer maintenance schedules rather than more power.
Ferg and Neil bring a different ownership question to “New $22,000 eBike From Eiros! | EMBN Show 455”: traveling with an e-bike and hiring batteries abroad.
Subscribers held steady, while today's viewing pace is below the channel's usual level, a pattern also seen at DirtFish and NASCAR on FOX. EMBN nevertheless had the second-largest weekly views gain among these nearby channels. Its newest source of momentum is Owen's Roc d'Azur walk-through, with the motor-care episode continuing to draw viewers behind it.

Again we re-visit the motor water and grit ingress, when will manufacturers make a motor that is serviceable by the home mechanic. Design a motor that has a service schedule, where it is opened, inspected, cleaned and new seals fitted, if needed, preferably by the home mechanics. Forget these wild power upgrades, give us motors that can be maintained and serviced by us.

@RobertBegg-u6mSee it on YouTubeI replaced all my bearings in my Shimano motor, I didn't buy the bearing kit. Instead found a stainless steel replacement for each bearing. Cost £112 in bearings, then I covered them in waterproof bearing grease. Runs better than factory!
