Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

FREE TO A GOOD HOME: One Labrador Brother

DOGGY•U's Laura has a service dog with an unconventional route to his toy: straight underneath the dog standing beside her. Denver makes the dash wearing an askew birthday hat, while Whip stands in a pink princess crown. Naturally, the slide gets a slow-motion replay.

"FREE TO A GOOD HOME: One Labrador Brother" is a joke, not a rehoming announcement. It was the week's most watched new upload, reaching about 28,000 views. The comments became a collection of similar household shortcuts: dogs continuing puppyhood habits after growing up, a cat slipping beneath a husky, and dogs simply hopping over whoever blocks the way.

The silliness sits alongside Laura's more considered teaching. In "10 Things Professional Service Dog Trainers Do That New Owner-Trainers Don't," she shifts attention away from collecting tasks toward engagement, settling, fluent skills and deciding whether a dog should be doing something at all. "Stressed Service Dog?" makes a related point about context, cutting from a lightly panting Labrador beneath a handler's legs to the dog running through woods with a ball.

The newest upload, "Service dog grounding!", currently has the most viewing momentum. Denver rests his chin on Laura's lap in a library, demonstrating how unobtrusive a working task can be. Laura makes clear that this is a training scenario, not footage of an actual disability episode.

Subscribers held steady, while daily viewing is well below the channel's usual pace. Among nearby pet channels, Plumley.funnypets had a particularly busy viewing week. For DOGGY•U, the distinctive pairing was a Labrador's party trick and the quieter work behind his training.

What viewers say

My cat does this to the husky, and the husky is baffled where she came from every time!

My service dog did this to our older girl because when we go him he was so little he could just walk underneath. Then he grew up and if she was in his way he'd still just go under her. This annoyed her and one day she did it to him because he was blocking her way. His look of shock is something I'll always remember

My boy will just hop over other dogs if they’re in his way. It’s so cute.

One of my dogs did this as a puppy and still does it now that she's full grown. The difference is now the dog that she used to do it to ends up on just her front legs while her butt and hind legs dangle in the air over the "puppy."
