Nigel Farage sits down with David Williamson, and pensions fill the comments
The Reform UK leader's exclusive interview moves from the triple lock to the EU and defense, on a day when a Harry and Meghan episode also ran far ahead of the channel's usual pace.
Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 298,400 views a day, 18 times a normal first day on this channel (16,134).
‘We’re in TROUBLE!’ Nigel Farage’s CHILLING Warning on Britain’s Biggest Scandal
A new full-length video on the Daily Express usually ends its first day at around 16,000 views. Nigel Farage's sit-down with the paper's political commentator David Williamson passed 230,000 in its first 15 hours.
The title promises a "CHILLING Warning on Britain's Biggest Scandal," and the description frames the conversation as Farage's view of the course the country faces under Andy Burnham. When Reform UK opened its election campaign in Doncaster, Farage aimed his speech squarely at Burnham, as we reported here. The chapters show the interview's path: the political landscape, pensioners and the triple lock, trust in Reform, the economy, relations with the EU, defense, and finally the electoral outlook.
The comment section moved fast, with more than three times as many comments in those 15 hours as a typical video here gathers in a whole day. The pension chapter is the one viewers return to most, with talk of working for decades and expecting something back. The longest thread is about Europe and whether Britain should ever rejoin the EU. Others raise outsourcing contracts and a planned Reform TV.
The interview was not the channel's only strong start. A Daily Expresso episode with JJ Anisiobi and James Walker, billed as a world exclusive claiming that Harry and Meghan plan to apologise to William and Catherine, also ran well ahead of the usual pace. A shorter Farage clip from the same day, in which he says he would relish fighting another Brexit referendum, stayed small. Viewers went to the full conversation.
