Chef Tyler passes 6.5 billion views as MASSIVE SHRIMP arrives
Four of his five new uploads drew millions, while the one built around Japanese street food stayed oddly small.

Chef Tyler's channel has now gone past 6.5 billion lifetime views, and the week that carried it there was a busy one. Of five new uploads, the newest is moving fastest: "Tricking my girlfriend into eating MASSIVE SHRIMP" is only a day old and is already drawing views at a pace none of the others match. "I'm not a real chef" opened strongly three days earlier and is still running well.
In total views, the leader is the oldest of the batch, "My best friend's birthday dinner," with "I bought 30 pounds of apples" not far behind. The odd one out is "5 Levels of Japanese Street Food." Next to its siblings, it has barely been noticed. Meanwhile, last week's "My mom didn't eat bread for 23 years" has passed eleven million views and is still among the channel's busiest videos.
The channel is still adding subscribers at a healthy daily clip. Among cooking channels, Chef Tyler ranks third by subscribers but is far ahead of the group in daily views. Addie Bowley and Nick's Kitchen are the next busiest, and Great Big Story is having a quieter stretch.
