Four parrots ring for treats, and the green one loses patience with the bell
A cockatoo, a macaw and an African grey are served in turn before the last bird in line runs out of patience, in a Short with comments far above the channel's usual pace.
Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 10,844,066 views a day, 65 times a normal first day on this channel (167,634).
Valid crash out 😂
The feeding line runs smoothly for about six seconds. A white cockatoo rings its little service bell and is handed seeds. A blue-and-yellow macaw rings and gets a nut. An African grey taps its bell and receives a piece of fruit.
Then it is the green parrot's turn. It rings, and the hand holding the snacks does not move. So it rings again, and again, faster each time, before shoving the bell clean off the table while a laugh track plays.
That ending is what the clip's title, "Valid crash out," refers to, and it is what people keep returning to. Many of the most liked comments side with the green bird, and several suggest that a reaction that quick means this has happened before. Just as many are watching the other three parrots, who turn to look at their neighbor as the bell goes. A few viewers suspect the whole scene is AI-made. The channel does not say how the clip was made or who filmed it.
Videos that make your day better is a clips channel that re-edits other people's material, and this Short reached about 8.6 million views in its first 15 hours. Its comments had already passed the channel's usual full first-day count more than thirty times over. It was not alone: four more Shorts posted the same day also started well above the channel's usual pace, and the channel added 100,000 subscribers over the week. The nearby clips channels of similar size were running below their usual pace.
