The Ender Dragon Has A Name?!

The question mark belongs there. In "The Ender Dragon Has A Name?!", camman18 digs into an old Minecraft changelog and finds a surprisingly casual name for the game's formidable boss: Jean?

The Short opens with an announcement of the Ender Update, then promptly reveals that the article dates to December 2016. Its entry about respawning the dragon supplies the name. From there, camman18 follows the trail to a Reddit response from Minecraft creator Notch, who referred to the dragon as female and suggested "Jean?".

It was the most-watched of his seven uploads this week, reaching about 4.3 million views. Viewers are playing with the punctuation, imagining introductions where even pronouncing the name requires a question. Others remember the similarly tentative "Steve?" labeling on older merchandise. The contrast between a dimension's fearsome dragon and such an ordinary name supplies its own joke.

Elsewhere, the week mixed ice blocks with weapon power. "brittle ice is op" came close to the dragon video's total, and its description credits PhoenixSC for the final tip. "the best damage in minecraft" is gathering views faster right now than either of those, while the newest upload, whose title turns a caption-versus-subtitle slip into a complaint about rerecording, has the strongest current momentum.

Subscriber totals were unchanged over the week, and daily viewing is below camman18's usual pace. Even so, his weekly views were the largest among the nearby Minecraft channels here, with Maizen also drawing a substantial weekly audience. For camman18, the freshest activity is now in damage tips and an intentionally uncorrected recording slip, rather than the dragon's naming history.
