What does the world's most famous hitman do on his day off? That is the question behind "Hitman but I try to live a Normal Life," the only video Kevin posted this week. Its tags point to a tour of the game's mundane corners: a bank in New York, an estate agent's job and the cul-de-sac of Whittleton Creek, the leafy suburban map from Hitman 2 where Agent 47 usually has less wholesome errands. It started fast, close to the pace the whole channel usually keeps across its entire catalog, and two days in it is past a quarter of a million views.

The idea is not new here. Ten days earlier, "I Tried Living a Normal Life in Red Dead Redemption 2" tried the same thing in the Wild West, playing, in Kevin's words, an awkward NPC. It has passed half a million views and is still the channel's second-busiest video, with a police simulator that promises the chance to abuse your power not far behind in total.
