"How 1 Clinic Can Change A Village" is a ten-minute documentary on Beast Philanthropy, the charity channel of Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast. It follows the construction of a 1,600-square-foot health clinic in a cocoa-farming village in Ghana, counted down on screen from day 1 to day 90.
The starting point is grim. Nurses Esther and Dorcas have been treating patients in a single room with no running water and unreliable electricity. The nearest hospital is more than an hour away. Lydia, a local mother, describes losing a pregnancy after the long motorbike ride. Eva, the clinic's first dedicated midwife, arrives to handle prenatal care and deliveries in the new maternity room.
Then comes the twist from the headline. Jimmy falls ill on site, needs an IV and tests, and ends up as the building's first patient. "Isn't it ironic," he says, before finishing the thought himself.
The clinic belongs to Jimmy's wider campaign, tied to his Feastables chocolate brand, against child labor on West African cocoa farms. The description outlines five years of work across eleven communities. It also thanks Mohammed Bin Rashid Global Initiatives, the Varkey Foundation and the 1 Billion Followers Summit, whose visiting creators, among them Ghanaian vlogger Wode Maya and Emirati creator Khalid Al Ameri, plant gardens and install handwashing stations. Many commenters pick up Jimmy's point that the big chocolate buyers should help too.
The documentary passed a million views in its first day, and channel viewing is now running at almost four times its usual daily pace. A companion upload, "We Built A Medical Clinic," went up a day earlier. In the archive, March's teacher Short and January's Kenya surgery project, "1,000 People Get Life Changing Surgery," are still finding viewers.
Subscribers held steady this week after a gain over the month. Elsewhere in the challenge crowd, Jordan Matter and Stay Wild had enormous weeks.
As we reported here, the previous note was about a school in the same region. This time the video opens on that school, and on an injured boy named Richard being treated in the old shed.

What viewers say
It might seem like just one clinic, but it’s literally changing the lives of an entire community. And the coolest part is knowing that even after we leave, this clinic will still be helping families, keeping kids healthy, and making a difference for generations to come ❤
@BeastPhilanthropySee it on YouTubeThank you for building this in Ghana. I went to Ghana last year and one of my cousins had malaria, so I’m glad that healthcare is becoming better in Ghana.
