Fuerza Regida and Cardi B join Atlantic's GTA VI soundtrack

"Suzuki" and "Don't Chart" arrive ahead of an album Atlantic says will accompany the game on November 19.

Atlantic Records has added two more voices to its Grand Theft Auto VI soundtrack rollout: Fuerza Regida and Cardi B. After the upload pause we reported here in September, both new tracks arrived on October 9, giving the label's channel a shared destination: Vice City.

"Fuerza Regida - Suzuki (From Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album)" is the week's most watched new upload, passing 1.1 million views. The Mexican American group, known for regional Mexican music and corridos tumbados, has prompted a particular kind of anticipation in the comments: listeners imagining these songs playing during nighttime drives through the game's city. Others are simply marveling at the band's inclusion.

"Cardi B - Don't Chart (From Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album)" opened with slightly more views in its first day, though "Suzuki" has since gathered the larger audience. Both are also Atlantic's most active uploads right now. Morgan Wallen's earlier contribution, "Morgan Wallen – Last Thing You Need (From Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album)," follows them in daily viewing and is approaching three million views.

Across the channel, daily viewing is running nearly half above its usual level, while subscribers remained unchanged over seven days. Atlantic also had the largest weekly viewing total among the nearby music channels with weekly totals available; Lyrical Lemonade had a substantial week too, while MTV's daily viewing was well below its usual pace.

The soundtrack's scope is part of the appeal here: regional Mexican music, rap and country share the same project. Atlantic describes an album of original tracks built around Vice City and Leonida, rather than simply a collection of familiar radio hits.
