AppleTrack wants more than OLED from the $700 iPad mini

Kohl walks through more than the screen. He describes a lighter redesign, changes to the speaker arrangement and an A20 Pro chip matching the processor in the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo. Taken together, the features make it feel to him like a miniature Pro-level iPad, except for the refresh rate.

His explanation for that omission is speculation: perhaps Apple wants to avoid competing directly with the similarly sized Duo. His verdict is more definite: "I just feel like for $700, this should have a 120Hz panel..."
