Rain, paragliding and May snow with Matt and Nat in Interlaken
Their Swiss day trip pairs a self-guided e-bike outing with lunch at a bierhaus and a funicular ride to Harder Kulm.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
One Day in Switzerland’s Adventure Capital
Getting lost on e-bikes was only the first complication in Matt and Nat's Swiss itinerary. Their sole new upload, "One Day in Interlaken, Switzerland," follows a day when the weather kept rearranging the plans: a café became shelter from rain, paragliding hung in the balance, and the trip up Harder Kulm delivered an unexpected taste of winter.
Filmed in May, the adventure has reached about 12,000 views. The airborne portion gives viewers plenty to discuss: one imagines asking the guide whether they really should keep running toward the tree line, while others compare their own fear of heights with the temptation of those views. A more practical question comes from someone planning a European trip: what layers kept Matt and Nat warm and dry?
The new Swiss outing is among the channel's most active videos, though "We Spent 48 Hours in Stockholm, Sweden" is drawing the largest daily audience. That earlier trip offers a different sort of chill, with a Baltic Sea dip during a private sauna experience, alongside museums, fika and an archipelago cruise. Their Lucerne video also continues to draw views, turning cable cars, a toboggan run and the Pilatus cogwheel railway into another packed Swiss day.
Subscribers stayed unchanged this week, and daily viewing is close to its usual level. Among similarly sized travel channels, Nikki Delventhal had a much bigger week, while Evan Edinger Travel was relatively quiet. Matt and Nat's contribution is a weather-dependent itinerary with a useful reminder built in: even a carefully planned day can acquire an unscheduled café stop and snow in May.

I❤ your take-off Matt. I’m sure my attempt would have included me asking my guide “ are we supposed to be running all the way down the hill into the tree line?”
@wbradford1986See it on YouTubeThat weather sure kept you guessing 🌧️⛅️🌨️😂 Incredible that it cleared for the paragliding 🎉🤩 I would for sure do that - I’m ready for a Switzerland trip!!
@BethG-1See it on YouTubeRandom but sincere question…How many layers/what were you wearing to stay warm and dry? We are headed to Europe over Christmas and trying to plan not to freeze. 🥶 Thank you!

This place was just meant for outdoorsy activities! The biking with the mountains and farms and the lake… oh my gosh. And I’m normally scared of heights, but for views like that I might have to get brave and do paragliding someday!
@ShowMeAnAdventureSee it on YouTubeAmazing adventure. Paragliding is sooooo much fun. Have only done it twice but each time there was so much peace dring the glide. So freeing to just be in the air. I would drink so much hot chocolate I would gain 15lbs lol.
