Squishy butter, a hiding game and 'BEST PRANKS OF 2026' on Zhong Clips
The squishy shorts kept coming after the glitter dumpling, and the channel added about 102,000 subscribers in seven days.
Why this story? The channel went from 366,000 to 468,000 subscribers this week.
Zhong Clips stayed with squishies. "Do You Know EVERY Squishy Dumpling Color?" went up on Thursday, and a day later came "What's INSIDE The Squishy Butter? 🤔 #squishy", a short that opens up a foam toy shaped like a pat of butter. It is the same soft-toy world as the stolen glitter dumpling that carried the channel a few days ago, as we reported here.
The channel posts short cuts of Zhong's videos, and its descriptions speak in his voice. The magic short, "World's BEST Magic Tricks You NEED To See!", is described as Zhong performing tricks and using them to prank his friends. Saturday brought the two busiest of the newest batch: a compilation called "BEST PRANKS OF 2026!" and "Guess Where I Am Hiding Or Else!".
The subscriber count kept moving. Zhong Clips added about 102,000 in a week and now has 468,000, still roughly eleven thousand a day. Daily views have come down from the channel's usual pace, and the same is true at Robin shaw, a clips channel of almost the same size. LifeStory, in the same corner of YouTube, is having a much busier week than usual.
There is one more detail in the newest upload: a best-of for 2026, posted with three months of the year still to go.
