The plan, as the description puts it, is to do as little as possible to get it running and then drive it about 630 miles home. That is the channel's signature: its about line calls it the original "Run and Drive" show. At four days old it has passed a million and a half views, and it is moving several times faster than anything else on the channel.

The drive-home formula is still working one video back too. An 11-day-old 1930 Ford Model A, stored off the road for 16 years, keeps a steady pace behind it. A short with a blunt motto, "Drive Your Junk. Who you saving it for?", filled out a two-upload week.

Subscribers kept arriving at a brisk clip, close to ten thousand a day.
