Coventry, a misplaced pass and Mark Goldbridge's FC27 meltdown on The United Stand XTRA

Billed as "Career Mode's going well...", the rage clip passed 100,000 views while the Manchester United news clips moved at a gentler pace.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

"THAT'S NOT THE PASS I PLAYED!" Goldbridge RAGES at FC27

The United Stand XTRA is the clips arm of Mark Goldbridge's Manchester United channel, and its busiest upload of the week has nothing to do with real football. "THAT'S NOT THE PASS I PLAYED!" catches Goldbridge at war with EA Sports FC 27, and the one-line description, "Career Mode's going well...", is doing a lot of dry work.

The comments read like a support group. Many viewers say they have shouted the title at their own screens, several argue the new game really does pass and defend differently from last year, and the Coventry match keeps coming up as the funniest stretch, with Kobbie Mainoo stuck in a strange tangle beside Virgil van Dijk as the moment everyone timestamps. It passed 100,000 views, more than double its nearest sibling.

The rest of the eight uploads stayed on United business: JJ Gabriel's future, a question mark over Roy Keane, Balde-for-Rashford transfer talk and a call for Leny Yoro to start after his game against Belgium. The newest, a predicted XI for Michael Carrick's side against Spurs, is moving fastest in its first day.

Overall it was a slower week than usual for the channel, with views running at roughly half their normal daily pace and the subscriber count unmoved. Among football channels its size, George Benson's Chelsea channel had the big week, while JS.COMPARISON, quieter than usual, still dwarfed everyone.
