Dave Rubin aims a slur at Mamdani, and The Majority Report's viewers answer
Several gay and lesbian viewers wrote about hearing that word from a gay man, while many more compared it to a schoolkid testing a new word.
Why this story? The video drew 1,467 comments in its first day, 5 times a normal first day on this channel (292).
Dave Rubin Calls Mamdani The F-Word
One word did it. "Dave Rubin Calls Mamdani The F-Word" is a segment on Sam Seder's The Majority Report, and the title is literal. The conservative host used an anti-gay slur about Zohran Mamdani, the democratic socialist from Queens who won New York's mayoral race in 2025.
The video drew an ordinary crowd for this channel, a little over a quarter of a million views on its first day. The comment section was another matter. About five times as many people wrote in as on a usual first day, and most of them keep coming back to one point: the word came from Rubin, who is openly gay and married.
Several viewers who say they are gay or lesbian write from their own experience. One explains that friends may use the word among themselves as a joke, and that hearing it here is a different thing entirely. Many more say the delivery sounded like a kid trying out a word he had just learned, and others call it a reach for shock value. A running joke insists that the F in the title must stand for French.
The clip went up on the same day as the show's segments on Pete Hegseth and on what another title calls a leaked plan for the midterms, and it has since drawn more views than either.
