Ctrl + Z, folded from paper, as The Koalas JJ passes 1.3 billion views

Two new shorts went up this week on The Koalas JJ, the craft channel hosted by Jake and Jovi, a pair of cartoon koala twins. The newer one is "The Most Satisfying DIY Keyboard Fidget! Ctrl + Z Fidget Paper Toy | DIY Kids Craft Ideas #sprunki", a paper version of the most forgiving key on any keyboard. Half a day after it was posted, it was already gathering views faster than the pizza-shaped pencil holder from earlier in the week, a squishy paper slice made with the Sprunki characters who show up in almost everything here.

Neither of them is doing the heavy lifting. That job still belongs to the back catalog: the scrolling paper iPhone from late August and the paper-cup egg and spoon race, both covered here before, plus "Is this the biggest hot dog ever? Minion drawing!", a fifty-day-old art trick starring the yellow henchmen from Despicable Me that has passed two million views.

Together they pushed the channel well above its usual pace, adding close to 17 million views in seven days and about 8,000 subscribers, for a total of 956,000. No channel in its group of similar craft and art creators gained more views this week. Create by K is also running well ahead of its normal stride, while karenxcheng is having a slower stretch than usual.

The paper iPhone and the Ctrl + Z key make the same small joke: everyday screens and keyboards, rebuilt in paper by two koalas.
