A white Tesla rolls down the highway behind a Cybertruck, its battery indicator turning green as the truck's turns red. In The Daily Downshift's animated scenario, the rescue vehicle is the one that ends up needing help.

"Never Tow a Tesla 😭" drew roughly 305,000 views in eight hours, already well beyond the channel's usual full-day audience for Shorts. This is Roblox-style gameplay animation, not footage of a roadside towing test.

The narrator attributes the reversal to regenerative charging: the towed Tesla's rotating wheels resist the pull while putting energy into its battery, draining the vehicle doing the work. The animation takes that explanation to an empty Cybertruck battery.

Viewers have a mischievously tidy solution: swap the vehicles around, let the newly charged Tesla tow the truck, then repeat. Several comments turn the predicament into an imaginary endless-battery workaround.

Battery trouble is familiar territory here. The channel's earlier "what happens when Tesla hits 0 Percent Battery?.." is among its most-watched Shorts, and its next upload, "Drive 3k Mi on Tesla 0% Battery 😱", returns straight to the empty-charge premise.
