A tersely titled Tesla upload has reached nearly two million views, while Kohler's next release returns to property and tax.

Chris Kohler doesn't give much away with "Eh. #finance #tesla." The brief title belongs to an upload that has collected nearly 1.9 million views since Monday, making it a conspicuous entry among his recent releases.

His channel has meanwhile added roughly 4.3 million views in a day, about seven times its usual pace. That is a channel-wide jump, not a tally attributable to the Tesla video alone.

The next upload takes a more explicit approach: "House Prices & Capital Gains Tax." Housing is familiar territory for the 9News finance editor. His August release "How Housing Became So Broken" is his most-watched regular video.

The recent lineup also puts share prices and market value alongside gold investing and an upload titled "Waited 40 years for the payback. #business #cocacola #pepsi". It's a mix of household financial questions and corporate stories, with Tesla supplying the shortest verdict in the titles.
