  5. 21:18Touch ID is her hardest adjustment; she also notes scratches and praises the display's lack of reflections.
  6. 23:07She answers the title's question: the Duo will remain her primary phone instead of the iPhone 18 Pro.

Empanadas at a food hall, a salon appointment and an early flight to Charlotte: TechMe0ut gives the iPhone Duo more to handle than an afternoon on a review desk.

"Life Lately with the iPhone Duo… Am I Getting Attached?" follows her through several days with the foldable, including a trip to collect a forest-green Rivian R2. By the end, she has an answer to the title's question: she plans to keep the Duo as her primary phone rather than return to her iPhone 18 Pro.

The upload reached roughly 39,000 views in ten hours, already far beyond the channel's usual full-day audience. Several commenters pick up on the day-by-day format, discussing the difference between an initial reaction and seeing a phone fit around actual errands and work.

There is plenty of work mixed into those errands. TechMe0ut joins a remote meeting about episodes of The Minority Seat, checks a Bambu Lab printer and tests night photography at Morgan Street food hall. On the flight, the unfolded screen becomes her video player. She singles out its matte finish for keeping reflections away, alongside loud, clear speakers.

But getting attached does not mean getting along with everything. Apps that have not adapted to the wider screen are her biggest compromise, and unlocking the phone proves an unexpectedly persistent irritation.

"Like I do prefer Face ID over Touch ID. This is tripping me up a little bit more than I anticipated," she says.

The phone also picks up small scratches on its back glass, while a drop leaves its screen protector cracked. Those everyday annoyances make it into the review alongside the reasons she is keeping it.
