A bard tries to seduce a dragon on Taylor's Tavern Tales
Taylor Dianne Robinson's only new short of the week is a classic D&D gambit, and the comment section answered with its own pickup lines.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

"Seduce that dragon!…" is the one new short on Taylor's Tavern Tales this week, and it plays one of the oldest jokes at any Dungeons & Dragons table: faced with a dragon, the bard decides that charm beats a sword. Taylor Dianne Robinson, who calls herself a "Professional Weird Kid" and works as a Dungeon Master, actor and singer, built her channel on exactly this kind of chaotic tabletop comedy. The description simply asks viewers to send it to their D&D group.
Many of them did more than share it. The comments filled up with Dungeon Masters admitting they would not even ask for a roll, players scripting the scene with a natural twenty on a performance check, and one viewer who wrote the bard an entire rhyming pickup line for a gold dragon. Others asked for the sequel where the roll comes up a one. A few simply mentioned the little blue strands in her hair, and the dancing.
The short opened with a bit over 40,000 views in its first day and has since settled. Behind it, last week's "I could do so much more…" is the one still picking up views, with the older giant-d20 taste test humming along. Overall the channel ran well below its usual pace, and subscribers held steady at 519,000.
That count is shared exactly with Min-Maxed, the tabletop show having a busier stretch than usual, as is Rumpus. Taylor's corner of the tavern was calmer, one dragon and a lot of bards in the comments.
