Tommy Fleetwood hits stock, low and high, and viewers ask where the ball landed

The short drew close to 22,000 views on its first day, on a week when a mic'd-up junior practice round at TPC Sawgrass passed 1.7 million.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Three uploads went up on TaylorMade Golf this week, and Tommy Fleetwood is in two of them. The busier one is a short of the Englishman working through the same shot three ways: stock, low, then high, "all part of the process," as the title puts it. It drew close to 22,000 views in its first day, comfortably the best start of the week. The comments, though, are mostly about the camera. Several viewers point out that the angle hides the ball until it stops rolling, so there is no way to compare where the three versions came down.

The other Fleetwood clip is quieter and more instructive. He plays from a good lie and a bad one to show how trusting the wedge (the tags name the Hi-Toe 5) opens up more feel around the greens. Between the two came a short for the TaylorMade x Sun Day Red fall collection.

The real weight of the channel sits with something older. A twelve-day-old mic'd-up nine holes at TPC Sawgrass, with the newest member of Team TaylorMade preparing for the Junior PLAYERS Championship, has passed 1.7 million views and still adds tens of thousands a day. The description notes he went on to finish tied for eighth at 1-under. Behind it, Rory McIlroy's short from his Wentworth preparation keeps ticking over.

The audience held steady. Daily views ran a touch below the usual pace, the subscriber count stayed at 1.16 million, and the week brought in about 1.6 million views. Among the sports channels nearest its size, that sits mid-table, close to Lord's Cricket Ground. The World Poker Tour had the standout week, with more than 12 million views.
