Among Minecraft creators of similar size, Spoke sits third by subscribers, a whisker ahead of DrDonut and just behind FlameFrags, who also happens to appear in Spoke's busiest video. Nothing new went up this week, and the channel leaned on what was already there.

Mostly, that meant "I Created Minecraft's Greatest Empire." Billed with the line "one player to rule them all," it is another chapter of the Unstable SMP, the shared server Spoke plays on with Wemmbu, FlameFrags and Parrot. At nine days old it is still pulling in views at roughly ten times the pace of anything else on the channel. The two before it have settled into a gentler rhythm: the trip into the Underworld, the server dimension most players supposedly doubt exists, and "Unstable SMP: Purgatory," the prison-break finale from three months ago, which remains the biggest of the three.

All of them run on Christopher Larkin's Hollow Knight music, Silksong included, which gives the series its moody, cavernous sound.

Subscribers held steady through the quiet stretch.
