Was it an Accident?👀
Shea Woodsford's channel description is one line long: documenting a journey as a goalkeeper. This week the journey went out in six shorts, and the one drawing the most views so far is "Was it an Accident?👀", a match played on what looks like a farm field with the sun low over the pitch.
Viewers noticed that sun first. The most liked comments praise him for dealing with it, admire a penalty save, and point out, with some surprise, that his defenders actually helped him this time. Others pick at the rating he gives himself at the end, including a generous score for catching a ball off the crossbar, and one viewer asks the question many young keepers seem to share: how do you stop feeling the pressure during a match?
Penalties ran through the week. "He Smashed My Bottle.. So I Saved His Penalty" sits close behind, while the newer "Goalkeepers Heartbreak..💔" and "Goal or No Goal? 👀" are picking up views faster than either. "Crazy..🤣", only hours old, is starting at a similar clip.
The whole channel ran a little below its usual daily pace, yet it still added about 25 million views and 9,000 subscribers over the seven days. Among football creators of a similar size, nobody added more views. NathanConnorTV and Brittany Wilson Isenhour also had busy weeks, while Chris Dixon and Hashtag United kept things calm.
