Nine videos went up on Scotty Kilmer's channel, and the late-week run has a neat shape to it. The gas-price guide opened well, the dead $83K Silverado opened a little stronger, the wheel-theft video with its Detroit Axle complaint stronger again, and then "The End of the American Car? Hyundai’s Massive Win" beat them all. Barely a day old, it is drawing views several times faster than anything else he posted.
The older uploads tell a different story. "Why GM is Killing the Dipstick & Toyota's $6.4B Robot Army" still holds the biggest total of the week, but it has settled into a gentle trickle, and the 62 MPH e-bike video has gone quieter still. Across the channel, daily views sit right at their usual level, and the subscriber count has not moved.
Among car channels, he is fifth of nine by subscribers and running almost level with Top Gear on daily views. Mat Armstrong is the one having a very big week, pulling in several million views a day, with Westen Champlin and Cleetus McFarland also busy.
