A $100K garden suite in the GTA, and Sandy's flight to India

Her backyard home tour, pitched as extra rental income, is the video viewers keep opening, while one short upload asks what it costs to fly home.

$100K GTA Home Tour: Garden Suite for Extra Rental Income

What are Sandy's viewers watching right now? Mostly a backyard. "$100K GTA Home Tour: Garden Suite for Extra Rental Income" is two weeks old and has passed 56,000 views, and it is still the busiest video on the channel by a wide margin. The tags place it around Brampton and Toronto, where a legal garden suite, a small separate home behind the main house, has become one of the ways homeowners try to make the mortgage math work.

It is a natural fit for Sandy, a University of Alberta graduate and senior developer who built her channel around helping newcomers study, work and settle in Canada. Real estate is the next question many of them eventually ask.

Her one new upload went the other direction: "Canada to India Flights 🇨🇦", a short look at getting back home. It drew about 5,600 views on its first day. The few comments are practical. One viewer asks how far ahead to book, and another doubts that the fares are as cheap as they look.

Overall the channel ran at roughly half its usual daily pace, and the subscriber count held steady. A spring explainer on New Brunswick's strategic initiative stream for permanent residence is still finding a few readers a day.

Among travel channels her size, Chris Howett and SteveMarsh are the ones having very big weeks, while Indian Blogger in Canada, another channel built around life as a newcomer, moved at a pace close to Sandy's.
