A hotel-notepad sketch became the starting point for Symphony: The Art of Ross Draws. In "I Spent 5 Years Creating My Dream Art Book," Ross Tran brings that scrap back out after showing how much has grown around it: characters, elaborate page designs and a new musical direction.
Ross Draws posted nothing new this week, but the book walkthrough is the channel's busiest current upload, with roughly 39,000 views overall. Ethan Becker wrote the foreword, while Adrian Sy helped develop a fictional typeface and Samuel Weeks collaborated on the layouts. Journey, the central character, began in paper sketches and serves as Ross's inner-child avatar.
The physical details get their own attention, including holographic page edges and a turquoise vinyl record. But the more revealing turn comes when Ross describes learning music production with demotapes and enjoying being a beginner again. "I want to embrace both: being an artist and a musician," he says, before showing animation roughs and describing his ambition for live shows combining the two.
The channel added about 21,000 views over seven days, with its subscriber count unchanged. Daily viewing is running at roughly a quarter of its usual level. Nearby in the broader creative group, Nakshi Kantha World is having a pronounced viewing upswing; Ross Draws is in a quieter stretch.
His earlier Ethan Becker portrait glimpse and "some of you grew up with me 🥹" also remain active. Both connect back to Symphony, making the book less a standalone reveal than a gathering place for this chapter of his work.
