Fed up with Manchester City: Rory Jennings' verdict, then three club debriefs

The City video drew more than 230,000 views on its first day, before Man United, Chelsea and Tottenham each got a guest and a debrief of their own.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

"I'm So Fed Up With Manchester City's MESS." is Rory Jennings at his most direct: a solo assessment of the Manchester City case and what it is doing to football. It was the most watched of his five uploads this week, and it opened fast, with more than 230,000 views on its first day. The comment section reads like a reading group for the case files. A line from a book about the club gets quoted back with plenty of laughter, a comparison between City and the suffragettes gets a second round of it, and many viewers want to know about the years after the period in question.

City was already on the agenda before that. Two days earlier, Rory and JCC asked where the club's biggest names could end up if relegation follows the outcome the description describes. Their list runs from Erling Haaland and Phil Foden to Gianluigi Donnarumma, Rayan Cherki and Nico O'Reilly.

The rest of the week went club by club, with a different guest each time. Joe Smith joined him to discuss Michael Carrick's start at Manchester United. Matisse talked about Xabi Alonso's early Chelsea, Cole Palmer's inconsistency and a defence that leaks goals. Flav asked whether Roberto De Zerbi can keep Tottenham afloat. The order of arrival also tells the pace: the Spurs debrief, barely half a day old, is gathering views the fastest, ahead of the Chelsea one.

The channel overall ran far quieter than its usual rhythm, adding close to a million views and about a thousand subscribers. Among the football clubs, leagues and media channels around its size, only JS.COMPARISON and the Barclays Women's Super League gained more views, while Crystal Palace and Fulham had a calm week.
