Among music labels and music media channels of similar size, Rise Records sits third by subscribers, behind Epitaph Records and BBCRadio1VEVO. That puts the Oregon-born label, long a home for post-hardcore and metalcore, in solid company.

The label posted two short announcements. "“WITH EYES TO SEE” by @P@Polyphiais out now!" flags new music from the Texas instrumental band known for their technical, genre-bending guitar work. It did the better of the two, with a few thousand views. "“I’m Coming Home (Big Gulps)” @S@SleepingWithSirenss out now!" does the same for Kellin Quinn's band and has barely stirred. Both are signposts more than events.

The real momentum belongs to "Spiritbox - Mourning (Official Video)." Three weeks old, it is drawing views many times faster than anything else on the channel. The Canadian metal band, fronted by Courtney LaPlante, has become one of the heavier genre's big draws. The video was directed by Alex Bemis and Mike Stringer.

Further back, Alkaline Trio's cover of Rise Against's "Re-Education (Through Labor)" keeps a slower, steady pace, produced and mixed by Cameron Webb. Subscribers held level.
