A mile-long train, a beaver tower and a one-tile city

Seven uploads from the Cardiff builder, and the Cities: Skylines 2 island has passed 600,000 views in six days.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Seven uploads, seven games. Real Civil Engineer, whose about line calls him "a child stuck in an Engineer's body," spent the week hopping between simulators, and the biggest total belongs to the first build: a Cities: Skylines 2 city squeezed onto a single tile of land, which the title insists actually works.

The rest of the week ran on the same appetite for scale. Transport Fever 3 got a mile-long train, a sponsored video that had the strongest first day of the new uploads. Part 7 of Timberborners Season 16 kept stacking its beaver tower higher, and What The Buck!? paid him to destroy money. The landscaper video, with its skeptical quotation marks around "professional," is the week's upload moving fastest right now.

The real surprise is newer still. "I can't stop playing this tower defense game!", about the incremental game Incrempire, is barely a day old and is running at several times the pace of anything else on the channel. On its own it is closing in on half of what the whole channel usually draws in a day.

Among strategy and simulation channels he sits third by subscribers. The Spiffing Brit and Vixella are both running above their usual pace, Vixella by a wide margin.
