Tyson Fury backs Nick Ball, even after he beat his mate

Queensberry's interview-and-highlights Short pairs Fury's affectionate appraisal with footage of Ball's punching power.

The Gypsy King was full of praise for Nick Ball 🙌👑

Tyson Fury has a theory about Nick Ball's size: "God made him five foot three for a reason. Because if he were six foot five, we'd all be unsafe right now."

That is Fury's opening assessment in a Short on Frank Warren's Queensberry Promotions, which cuts between the heavyweight's interview and Ball landing punches and scoring knockdowns. The featherweight supplies the action; Fury supplies a running endorsement, comparing him to an English pitbull terrier.

The clip has passed 110,000 views in its first 12 hours, already far beyond the channel's usual full-day audience for a Short. This is an interview-and-fight-highlights edit, with Fury explaining exactly what he enjoys about watching Ball.

There is a personal wrinkle to the praise. Ball defeated Isaac Lowe, whom Fury calls his friend, but that result has not diminished his enthusiasm. As another knockdown plays, Fury says: "Even though he beat my mate Isaac Lowe, I'm a massive fan of little Nick Ball. I think he's a proper, proper banger."
