On an ordinary day, Pidgin Doll's catalog of repainted dolls brings in something over 400,000 views. Right now it is closer to half that, a noticeably softer stretch for a channel with more than two million subscribers.

One new short went up, on September 25, and it is a collaboration. "The Mermaid Sisters come alive with @savanimationz" pairs her doll work with stop-motion, going by its tags and title, so the mermaids she paints get to move. It drew a solid first day and is still the busiest video on the channel.

Behind it, two older shorts keep ticking along. A month-old attempt at a "no-makeup" look done entirely with makeup has passed two million views. And a vampire storytime from summer, "Queen of the 'ENGLAND'" and tagged for Anne Rice and Queen of the Damned, is still finding viewers ten weeks on.

The quieter pace is shared across much of her corner of art and craft channels. naztazia, BRIKLE and Ethan The Artisan are all running below their usual days, while Scam Nation is the one having a livelier stretch than normal.
