A moving truck is not enough for Charlie White's Facebook Marketplace purchase. His friend Matt describes the convoy bringing it home: a U-Haul behind them, plus several cars packed with games. There is a large CRT television, too.
The resulting haul has drawn about 1.2 million views since penguinz0 posted "Craziest Thing I've Ever Bought from Facebook Marketplace" today. The attraction is easy to see once the storage bins open: this is part retro-game unboxing, part excavation of someone else's collecting life.
Back at home, Charlie says the bins reached from floor to ceiling across multiple rooms. Friends help sift through sealed copies of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Nintendo 64 console boxes and GameShark and Game Genie accessories. Earlier finds include Sunday Funday and Tecmo Cup Soccer Game for the NES.
Not everything belongs neatly on a game shelf. A poster tube produces a signed Sky Does Minecraft poster. Matt presents Mario Kart bubble gum and an unopened pack of baseball cards from 1988, which the group opens and inspects. A Wade Boggs card gets its moment before they move on to a large Defiance Collector's Edition box.
In the comments, viewers imagine the seller opening the door to find Charlie there, joke about a decades-long gaming backlog and discuss preservation rather than resale. Charlie supplies his own answer to what happens after the unboxing: "I'm going to play them all, that's for sure."
