He arrives by chariot and introduces himself as Yudhishthira from heaven. The police still want to see his citizenship card. That encounter captures the collision at the heart of Panch Pandav, whose first official trailer brings epic characters into a very earthly Nepal.

Posted by Nepali film distributor OSR Digital, the trailer drew about 435,000 views before its first full day was over, far beyond the usual opening for the channel's short uploads. The comment section is unusually busy, too: hundreds of responses where a typical first day brings only a couple.

Directed by Basanta Niraula and written by Sushil Paudel, the film mixes mythological spectacle with modern action and comedy. An ominous opening invokes Hastinapur and Kali Yuga, before the trailer moves into street protests, police confrontations and fires. Ancient warrior costumes share the screen with modern clothes, club entrances and romantic misunderstandings.

The heavenly reunion does not go entirely to plan. Yudhishthira visits a jail cell and greets a man as his brother Bhim, only to be told his name is Bhimsen. Elsewhere, Deepa Shree Niraula's character takes on an assailant in front of villagers. Her entrance is one of the specific moments viewers mention in the comments.

Hari Bansha Acharya, Jitu Nepal, Aryan Sigdel, Mahesh Tripathi and Sushil Sitaula are among the ensemble. The trailer announces a November 6 cinema release. It joins another active film campaign on OSR Digital: the Chha Maya Chhapakkai 2 trailer has also passed a million views.
