Family dog named ‘Diablo' on the loose after attacking teen girl
Deputies approach a dog near a backyard wall, but the attempt to contain it ends with the animal running into the surrounding neighborhood. NBC 6 South Florida's helicopter captures the search for Diablo, a family pet that authorities say attacked a teenager.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office said a deputy used an electronic control weapon after the dog aggressively approached from behind. Chopper 6 footage then shows Diablo running around the back of the property and escaping. Other aerial images show the dog loose beside a sidewalk and fence line in Northwest Miami-Dade.
The report says the owner was trying to get Diablo off the street and that the dog understands commands only in Spanish. The attempted capture had not secured the animal by the time of the report.
The Short drew about 127,000 views in ten hours, an unusually fast start for NBC 6 South Florida. Its comment section was also already much busier than the channel's usual full first day for Shorts.
