"Once again, I have realized I cannot draw," Vik says as the Sidemen return to Gartic Phone. The timer is running, everyone has a prompt to illustrate, and artistic confidence is already in short supply.
Simon, Josh, Harry, Vik, Ethan and Tobi play remotely, passing sentences through successive drawings and guesses. The pleasure is in watching a perfectly understandable idea become almost unrecognizable by the time its album is revealed. MoreSidemen's upload drew about 812,000 views since yesterday.
Ethan drinking tea should be a manageable assignment. So should Harry crowd surfing. But the latter somehow becomes Harry throwing his phone, while a walk with Vik's dog Ralph produces an animal closer to a giant rabbit. Before long, Simon has a question about the group's very limited subject matter: "Why is everything poo or Ethan?"
The album reveals also turn the drawing criticism back on the players. Tobi's contribution to Simon's opening prompt gets a prolonged inspection from his friends, with little chance to move quietly on to the next picture. An advertisement for Inside on Netflix follows the gameplay.
In the comments, viewers repeatedly ask for an hour-long edition rather than the short session they've been given. Others have a specific follow-up request: bring back Quiplash and Survive the Internet, too.
