Moments Brain passes a quarter-million subscribers with magic-heavy Shorts

A sleeping-handstand prank leads several fast-starting uploads, while wardrobe and shadow tricks have crossed a million views.

Why this story? The channel went from 185,000 to 251,000 subscribers this week.

Moments Brain has added about 66,000 subscribers in seven days, taking it past the quarter-million mark. That is growth of more than a third, with several Shorts drawing unusually large audiences rather than a single upload supplying the whole story.

The sleeping-handstand prank has the most views among the fast-starting October 16 uploads. A Short titled around mysterious hands is also well ahead of the channel's usual pace, as is its latest everything-is-cake offering. Each is still within its first day, so their starts are the news, not a finished day's total.

The previous day's uploads have milestones of their own: the wardrobe-spin, disappearing-shadow, straight-hair and dress-code Shorts have all crossed a million views.

Cake, meanwhile, is a returning subject on Moments Brain. Its most-watched Short is still "this cake rule trapped #shorts," posted in March. The new cake upload puts that familiar theme back among the channel's fast starters.
