Abdul El-Sayed challenges Trump to take a lie detector test

Abdul El-Sayed has the questions ready. Responding to Donald Trump's suggestion that he should pass through a metal detector, the Democratic Senate nominee offers to do so daily if the president submits to a lie detector once.

Middle East Eye's Short of the Michigan rally speech reached roughly 230,000 views in seventeen hours, already far beyond the channel's usual first-day audience for Shorts. The excerpt comes from an appearance dated 29 October.

El-Sayed begins with a Wolverine joke, suggesting Trump has taken the nickname seriously and knows he has claws. Then he addresses the president directly: "I'll go through a metal detector if you'll sit for a lie detector."

As the crowd cheers, he sets out his proposed questions. He first names Jeffrey Epstein, without specifying a question, then asks whether Trump won the 2020 election. The clip ends with El-Sayed repeating his terms: a daily security check for him, a single lie-detector test for Trump.
