Six hours old, a new video about a disabled ballerina was already finding its audience, the second episode of a separate series Max Klymenko calls How You Work. It arrived at the end of a week that otherwise belonged to his long-running ladder series, the numbered episodes marked with a little ladder emoji, where he asks people what they do for a living.

The standout is Ep. 666, whose guest has a job that the title says was illegal until 1951. The title keeps the job itself a secret, and it has passed 3.8 million views in five days. Two episodes later, Ep. 668, about a woman everyone told she couldn't do what she does, is close behind on daily pace despite being only three days old. Ep. 665 promises one of America's richest self-made women. Not every rung lands the same way: Ep. 667, with someone holding a very intense job on a racing team, has stayed far smaller.

A non-interview video rounds it out, a look at which degrees pay best by mid-career, fitting for a creator whose about text lists four university degrees and a past in law and corporate consultancy.

The channel is adding around ten thousand subscribers a day. Among money and business channels of similar size, it sits fourth by subscribers, while Caleb Hammer and Fox Business are the ones running well above their usual pace right now.
