The fuel bills start complicating Mav's plan well before Alaska. He sets off in a converted Ford ambulance hoping to track the trip's costs and recover them when he sells the camper, but eventually decides that enjoying the drive matters more than making the arithmetic work.

"17 Day Roadtrip to Alaska - 1600 miles in an Ambulance" is the most active of his recent uploads during a week without anything new. It has passed half a million views, following Mav and his girlfriend Yasi from a camper clear-out in Duluth onto Canadian highways. Yasi takes a turn wrestling with the heavy steering; Dawson Creek supplies the Alaska Highway starting-point sign.

Between the big road-trip landmarks come the smaller necessities: breakfast groceries, laundry, pay-per-minute showers and a freshly made camper bed. There is room for golf, too. By the time they reach Liard River Hot Springs, Mav's expense-led adventure has become something more relaxed. The video also contains a sponsored segment for Function Health.

Across the channel, weekly viewing reached roughly 670,000 views, while subscribers stayed level. Daily viewing is close to its usual pace. Exploring Alternatives had a livelier week nearby, adding subscribers as well as drawing a larger weekly audience.

Mav's older experiments are contributing, too: "Cardboard Truck Camping" is drawing almost as many daily views as the ambulance journey, with "Alaska Beach Shelter Stealth Camping " also remaining active. An upload break hasn't left his camping shelf empty.
